Also playing at the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown is indie rock band Ball Park Music. Expect high energy, sing-along anthems and all the feel good vibes from their live show.
The legendary Alice Ivy, with her signature sound as distinctive and soul grabbing as the Supercars engines, will also take to the stage.
Bernard Fanning has accumulated one of the most celebrated and distinct songbooks on the Australian rock spectrum. Fanning is a multi-award-winning and platinum-selling artist, with a solo career now spanning 15 years. He has firmly cemented his position as one of Australia’s finest songwriters and lyricists.
Fanning covers a range of genres from the country folk-tinged charm of his multi-platinum debut solo album Tea and Sympathy to the rock grooves and horn breaks of its follow up Departures. The exquisitely crafted Civil Dusk / Brutal Dawn – a two-part album series – was also released in 2016 and 2017 by the Australian music icon.
Ball Park Music
ARIA nominated five-piece group Ball Park Music is no stranger to the indie-rock scene. With six studio albums under their belt and regular features on the triple j music rotation, Ball Park Music is well and truly cemented into Australia’s music industry.
